My Mom was just mentioning a kind of tea she used to love when we lived in Anchorage in the 70s and early 80’s – we found you, and your description of the decaf Samovar mix seems to be an exact match – we ordered and are looking forward to seeing if it is, indeed, the same as she remembered.
Blessings to you and Merry Christmas!

I’m sure you’ve found the right tea – our house blend 🙂 I hope it brings back fond memories of her time in Alaska!

Very excited to have found you! We visited Anchorage in the ’80’s and bought Samovar Russian tea from you. Best stuff I’ve ever had. Ordered it a couple of times and then lost the name of your shop…all I could remember was the name of the tea. It occurred to me I could put that name together with Anchorage and found you righr away. Am ordering three packets…costs almost as much as the tea to ship it, but I can hardly wait to get it!.

I love your samovar tea. While in Anchorage, I purchased it more than a few times. Just received my fourth or fifth shipment and sharing it with others. Thank you

Back in the mid-1980’s a friend, Gail Morgan, got me addicted to Samovar. I left Alaska in 1987 and have settled in Garland, TX. I recently found Gail on Facebook, and she still being in Alaska, have hounded her for Samovar for the past year. FINALLY, this very day, she calls me to tell me she’s in Texas to check out some property she owns and she had a pound of Samovar for me. What a day. I haven’t seen Gail OR Samovar since 1987. I loved the taste and the smell, but I read the ingredients on the the card she asked you for lest TSA find this pound of herbal delights and wonder. I looked up the health benefits of the ingredients. I think this must be the most beneficially potent stuff I’ve ingested, ever. So, to make a long story even longer, I’ve decided, somehow, I have to have a continuous supply for the rest of my life here on Earth. Please email me with what it would cost me to order, say a pound, per month. My zip is 75040. Thanks, and I’m SO glad I finally have some Samovar again! Also, do any of your other teas have anywhere near the same antioxidant and phytoeverything and all the other goodies that does Samovar?

Hi Paul, I’m hoping you received our rather lengthy email in response to your query about other teas! We hope that if you are ever in Alaska, you’ll stop by for a visit!

Goodness Paul, I hope you received an answer to your May inquiry! If not, sincere apologies. We would love to keep you supplied with Samovar! The cost per pound is 32.00. We also blend Sassy Bear and Drowsy Bear. Sassy is a black currant infused black tea and licorice root, star anise and clove. The Drowsy Bear is rose hips, licorice root, star anise, clove, orange and Chamomille. Looking forward to hearing from you!
